The Yeshuah Prophecy
When Heironeous as the first paladin gathered the six chosen ones who would become Gods, he picked St. Cuthbert, Pelor the Radiant, Kord the Mighty, Olidammara the Clever, Fharlanghn the Master of Roads and young Yeshuah, a strong willed youth. After reaching the veil of life and death, Heironeous called the portal “a gateway to heaven” and deemed it their reward for a heroic act. All but Yeshuah chose this world over their own. He returned to the human race and spent the rest of his days educating the world on life, the veil and the dangers of the undead: a fear which would hold the world back for generations.
Lives of the Yeshuah:
The burden of the Yeshuah is a tough existence, not only to be the hero of everyone’s expectations, but a curse to live a life plagued by grief and death. The lyric of Baldur’s Gate captures this pain, and is part of the reason why the False Yeshuah Shen Lightbringer attempted to destroy the Veil.
